A classic way to progress would be to tie the amount of Prestige point to a speed or squares multiplier. It would allow for game progress while still pushing the players to prestige a few times after having completed the upgrades
I've been doing all-boot into all-cube collections. (Edit: Misworded that before but basically the strategy phaluzak outlined, of using boot artifacts to get squares then switching all forge artifact slots to cubes to max return on blue squares) So far I'm up to about e55 blue and e16 pink. I have maxed out the prestige shop. I am one row away from getting to the next screen. I'm excited to have green squares. (Once every couple orders of magnitude I sacrifice too, boost bonus time is now like +10k seconds)
Since the cube artifacts don't multiply the pinks, it can be worth it to farm a few collections with all-boots active in the forge.
Also I haven't seen anyone say this but obviously while the boots are in place, before switching to cubes, I reroll to get as many 9s and as few 3s as possible
Edit: updated numbers. Things have been slowing down around e55
Have you had any luck with more progress? I am stuck around e55 as well. I also noticed that it says you need to get 10 rows of green to unlock supernova 2. Based on what I have seen so far, if something else is not unlocked after reaching green, I am afraid it might not even be possible to progress at all
My best progress has been rerolling for as many 9s as possible to get around e43 blues before switching to cubes but yeah it becomes untenable toward the middle of the last row. You end up needing to roll basically all 9s (or at least no 4s or 3s) to make a dent in progression. I haven't made it to the e56s, I couldn't afford that much micro so I've fallen off. I was really hoping to get a green square :(
***SPOILERS****For those who are having difficulty after the first supernova, I believe I have found a possible strategy that seems to be working well for me. It definitely takes some time, but you will be able to see some significant results.
**Note - You need the "Multi-Sac" prestige upgrade in order to make this strategy work effectively.
1. After supernova, play as you normally would, but focus on the forges. After getting your first few forges, you want to unlock all of your artifacts. To do this, focus on the forge speed and yield artifacts. I found that the best method is to get two 2x multipliers first and then grind for a 4x multiplier. Once you have these you should be able to purchase another 4x multiplier rather quickly. Make sure you are purchasing artifact slots during this to add more multipliers. After getting 4 artifacts (2 2x & 2 4x), grind for the 2x artifact for blue, pink, and green. With this, you will be able to grind green more easily. Then purchase the 4x for blue, pink, and green. After this it is just grinding for the 8x for all 3 plate colors and purchasing artifact slots until you have all of them (Should be 9 in total).
2. Once you have all artifact slots, reset your artifacts and grind for two 2x multipliers and one 4x multipliers. With this, you should gain blue plates fairly quick. Then purchase as many 20x Blue Bonus game boosters as possible. After you have purchased and crafted all the boosters, you should get a significant boost to your blue squares.
3. After this focus on Fill Speed and Blue Bonus projects, specifically the ones that reset on prestige. Once you reach a point that no progress is being made, Sacrifice to gain the multipliers to all sacrifice categories (You will want to make sure you have "Multi-Sac" Prestige upgrade so that all categories get upgraded with the sacrifice). You may want to sacrifice multiple times, grinding for a bit in between to raise more blue squares.
4. Once you feel that you have reached a point where you are not making significant progress with the sacrifices, reset your artifacts and boosters once again, but DO NOT PRESTIGE AND DO NOT USE YOUR BOOST.
5. Start the process once again for gathering forge multipliers (2 2x, 1 4x) until you can afford to buy the max number of game boosters again. This time instead of buying Blue bonuses, buy as many 50x Fill Speed game boosters as you can.
6. Once they are crafted you will get a significant boost to game speed and should be able to reach Pink squares with it. Once you have the speed boosters crafted, use your speed boost that you saved to get as many squares and rows completed as possible. When your boost runs out and you reach a point that you cannot progress along the rows any more, reset your artifacts once again, but DO NOT COLLECT, SACRIFICE, OR PRESTIGE.
7. Repeat steps 2-6, once again filling your artifact slots with blue bonus game boosters. Once they are crafted, you should get a much larger Blue Square collection because of the extra row multipliers you got from using the speed boosts. Collect the squares, max out progression on the fill speed and blue bonus projects and then sacrifice. Continue to repeat steps 2 through 6 until you either have little progression or you will receive a good amount of Prestige Points to make prestige worth it.
8. Once you are no longer making progress or you will earn enough prestige points, Prestige your game and invest your points. I recommend focusing on Lucky, Blue Bonus, and your Sacrifice multipliers to get more blue squares when using the 20x bonus boosters and then focusing on Fill Speed and Pink Bonus to fill in higher rows and collect more pink squares for the additional prestige multiplier and fill speed boosts.
Sorry if this seems a bit confusing, I am happy to explain more if you have any questions. So far, using this strategy I am currently up to Row 9 in Pink squares and nearly have the prestige tree maxed out. I hope this helps!
Thanks. We'll need an updated version for getting to supernova 2, if and when you get there :) But this will help greatly
One thing you could do is leave your game sitting for a couple hours with 2 blue plates and 1 pink, and switch the pink to a blue so that you get 3 4x, freeing up another slot. This will take a few hours, maybe just 3, but that's the strat I'm going with
Yes, currently I am up to 8 plate forge slots, 4 upgrades in forge speed, and 2 upgrades in yield so I am able to get to one 4x multiplier after waiting about 15-20 minutes, which gives me enough blue plates to buy the game boosters after another 10 minutes or so. That way I end up with 8 game boosters. I was trying to include in this in an edit to my original post, but itch wasn't cooperating lol. Basically, as you get more plate forges and more upgrades try to reduce the number of multipliers you buy to get the maximum number of game boosters possible
I'm just grinding out 9 slots of 20x blue, with 3 blue plates rn. Taking forever T_T
New report. If you need to go to bed, just change all slots to x50 or x20. No need for pink plates either. Even after about 4-5 hours, all boosters will have been completed
Yes, I started doing that as well. I have managed to max out the prestige bonuses, but progress is slowing down quite a bit once I get to the 3rd to last row. Still trying to find a way through so hopefully will have an update soon. Let me know if you find anything else out!
Thanks for this. Unfortunately I can't get Multi-Sac without first collecting 10k PP. But your strategy is working for me to get to that point.
Supernova sucked the fun out of the game for me. it was nice and fun before. Its way too slow now
Could you please add a shortcut for activating bonus?
To echo what others have said, the first supernova is way too punishing and the forge isn't powerful enough to compensate. I've been stuck on blue for much longer than my initial playthrough, ideally a milestone like supernova should feel rewarding. This feels more like a challenge run, which can also be fun and have their place, but it's a bit severe here.
Agreed... Supernova made me quit. I was a full day out from first Supernova and could manage about 2-3 lines of blue before collecting, with no real attainable goal in sight.
After supernova the forge is nowhere near enough to compensate, it becomes near impossible to progress. Using every forge slot to boost blue speed and number is barely enough, after an entire day of grinding, to reach the pink. And then it's an impossible grind to progress beyond that
Just reached supernova.
Game slows down to a crawl after that, to the point that I'm stuck at blue rows 1-2 waiting for a forge booster to make that difficulty palatable. It feels less like playing than waiting to be allowed to play.
The difficulty thingy is a good idea, though. Just... 1.5 may be too much.
Very nice!
I really love that the automation deallocates from Boost if you use the boost!
Would love for the boost-button to be shortcutable
This is great! I've liked all your works.
I love how you show the ETA for each square on mouseover, and also how you got it ticking down as the countdown changes.
I also appreciate the way the automation layer reassigns all the points from the booster when it's used, I hadn't even thought to try that myself.
This is probably not a simple request, but in case it is: could the time estimates be changed to include the booster running out? (That is, if a 4x booster is expiring in 4s but the square would finish in "5s" it would instead say 8s instead of calculating like the boosted speed would continue forever.)
Now to work on getting to the pink layer.
Five squares generate and then generation stops forever. Refreshing resets the game but the same thing happens again right after.
